Grandma and Grandpa

My parents run an income tax business from January until April every year. They are so busy everyday and it is a little difficult for them to come see Everett. So we try to make it out to their office as much as we can. Everett LOVES to see grandma and grandpa and I know they feel the same way! Only 18 days to go mom and dad!

The sweetest sound...

The sweetest sound I have ever heard is my baby boy's laugh. Enjoy!

My 2 front teeth!

Everett is growing up so quickly! Every time I turn around he has, or does, something new. Currently its teeth! His two bottom teeth came out of no where about 2 weeks ago and haven't stopped growing since! I am bummed out about him having teeth. Teeth make him look like a big boy and I want to keep him little as long as possible. I am also going to miss his big beautiful gummy smile!

Uncle Chris came to visit

Uncle Chris came to visit yesterday. Everett always loves to see his uncle! Chris is training to run a leg of the Baker to Vegas relay race on March 14th. He will be running 6 miles somewhere in the desert between Baker and Vegas. He has participated in this run the last couple of years with Rialto Police Department. Good luck bro!!

We started teaching Everett how to hold a sippy cup about a week ago and I am so amazed at how easily he caught on! I can now set his cup on his high chair and he will pick it up with both hands and bring it to his mouth and drink. I am so proud!

Everett is 6 months old!

Well, he is not officially 6 months until next week, but today was Everett's 6 month check up. He is getting SO big! Everytime I see a newborn I can't believe he was ever that little. He is doing so great and hitting all of his milestones. Today he weighed 18 lbs 3 ozs and was 26.5 inches long. He seems so big for his age, but he is surprisingly only 50th-75th percentile for each. He can sit up all by himself, he eats rice cereal, he sucks his toes, and he even goes to bed without any help from mom and dad! And he is (almost) sleeping through the night. Now if we can only get him to nap......
