Busy, busy, busy

So much has changed around the Cornett household recently and even more changes are coming soon.  It is crazy how busy we can be with a 4 year-old and a 2 year-old, but they really have busy schedules!

Let's start with Everett.  So he recently started T-ball.  He has also been doing Karate two or three times a week for the last year.  He has been doing great at Karate, but unfortunately we will be taking a break from Karate for the summertime.  We have so much going on lately that something has to give!  He is still in preschool now but he will be starting transitional kindergarten in August.  I am really excited that he has this opportunity and I hope it is a great start to school for him.  Lately he is really looking forward to the arrival of his little sister.  He is such a sweet boy and just can't wait for her to be here!

Hudson has grown up a lot in the past few months.  He is potty trained now!  He has also slept on his new bunk bed.  He does great and sleeps very well, as long as he doesn't lose his paci!  Having Hudson on the bottom bunk makes Everett a little nervous though.  Everett told me he worries about Hudson being on the bottom bunk and I know it makes it difficult for him to sleep knowing his little brother is there. But I know they will get used to it!  Hudson will be starting preschool in August!  He is very excited about this and I know he will do great.  Currently Hudson and I attend a class at My Gym once a week.  He does so well in this class and follows all the directions.  I know he will be great in preschool.

My sweet little boys were pretty sick recently.  It is not too often that they get more than a minor cold, but the Cornett household was hit hard with the stomach flu for the very first time.  These 2 little guys did a lot of snuggling on the couch.  It was a long week, but fortunately everyone is doing well now.
Jeremy and I have been getting ready for our new baby girl's arrival!  She has an obscene amount of clothes and baby gear thanks to some of my wonderful friends!  I have been trying to organize her closet and her room, but it has been tough.
These pictures of her closet are clothes only up to 6 months!...insane, right?!

My wonderful friend Emily threw me a baby shower this past weekend.  It was so pretty and girly and so much fun!  She is so creative and everything turned out beautifully.

My favorite thing about the shower was the bow and headband making craft.  All my guests were invited to make bows and headbands for our baby girl.  I have been dreaming about my baby girl wearing big bows on her head since the day I found out we were pregnant, so this was perfect for us!  It was such a good idea and something I will really cherish.
I am off work now, which is so exciting!  I went off work a few weeks earlier than I did with the boys pregnancies.  I am really trying to enjoy some extra time with them before our house gets even busier.  We have been enjoying the warmer weather lately and I am really hoping it sticks around.  And we have about 6 weeks left until we can finally meet our baby girl!  So exciting, I can hardly wait!

T-Ball

Everett started his first T-ball season a few weeks ago!  He is playing in Vineyard Little League and his team is the Angels.  I am so excited to have him on this team and in this league.  My brother grew up playing in the same little league and my whole family was very involved in baseball.  I am also very excited to be playing on the same team with the Rogina family!  They are some of our favorite people and we love spending some extra time with them.

Jeremy gets to help out as one of the assistant coaches.

The Angels had their first game this past Saturday.  Everyone was very cute and I think they all had a great time.  Everett ran to each base the wrong way and he was not thrilled to be waiting for the ball, but all-in-all it went pretty well.
Everett is number 3.  Their jersey's are very cute and even have their last name on the back.  He has a lot of work to do before he even starts understanding the game, but he has been having a blast practicing with his friends.
I am so thrilled for this season of T-ball and I hope Everett loves sports as much as I did as a kid!
