Merry Christmas 2010!!

We had an amazing Christmas season this year! It was filled with lots of family and friends and lots of parties! Everett loved opening gifts this year and was so excited about each one. And he had quite a few to open! His favorites are this Buzz Lightyear and his train table. When he first saw his train table on Christmas morning he got a huge smile on his face and said, "Oh goodness!!" He plays with his trains for hours at a time...it is so cute!
Our Christmas Eve was spent with Jeremy's family at our home. Our Christmas day started off at my Aunt Debbie's house with my dad's family and ended with my mom's family at our house. My favorite part was spending time with all my family and staying up late playing games! I also loved seeing my handsome boys all dressed up!

This and That...

The rain out here in sunny California has been crazy! It has been raining...I mean pouring....for 5 days non stop at my house. My poor toddler has been stuck inside and we are all catching the cabin fever!
These pictures are of the river that has been created on our side yard.
The dogs don't seem to mind! Lately we have had a lot of visitors stopping by. Today we had a playdate, family visit, and a gift exchange with some old friends! Here is a picture of some of our favorite visitors...my grandpa, my dad, and Everett.
We have been busy in the kitchen making and decorating (and eating!) treats for our neighbors.
....And I promise I did not give out the ones that Everett decorated!
And check out these pictures of my baby boys......
So the top picture is Hudson at almost 6 weeks, and the bottom picture is Everett at 6 weeks. Do you think they look alike?

One month

It is hard to believe that this little guy is a month old already. He is now over 9 lbs and his newborn clothes are starting to get a little snug! So far he has been a great baby. Everett has been a good big brother too. He always wants to kiss and hug Hudson. Sometimes he is a little rough, but I know he means well! Jeremy goes back to work next week and I will be taking care of these 2 babies on my own for the first time. I have been so lucky to have him home and I am going to miss his help.

Missing you Grandma

We celebrated the life of my wonderful grandma this past week. She passed away on November 20th after a year long battle with cancer. My grandpa prepared an amazing memorial service for her. They were married after knowing each other for only 2 months and stayed married for over 50 years. I guess you just know when it's right. She had 7 children, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandsons. Hudson was born only a few days before her passing and I am so honored that he was able to meet his great grandma. I know she had an amazing life here and I look forward to seeing her again someday...
