The rain out here in sunny California has been crazy! It has been raining...I mean pouring....for 5 days non stop at my house. My poor toddler has been stuck inside and we are all catching the cabin fever!
These pictures are of the river that has been created on our side yard.
The dogs don't seem to mind!
Lately we have had a lot of visitors stopping by. Today we had a playdate, family visit, and a gift exchange with some old friends! Here is a picture of some of our favorite visitors...my grandpa, my dad, and Everett.
We have been busy in the kitchen making and decorating (and eating!) treats for our neighbors.
....And I promise I did not give out the ones that Everett decorated!

Oh Mel, that rain sucks! It's all too familiar to us. :) We play a lot of games in the house, and Rowan also rides his trike on the hard wood floor! ha...potentially destroyed hardwoods are a small price to pay for me. :) If you hadn't said that one of those pics was Everett I wouldn't have known. They are adorable. I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas! xoxoxo
