6 weeks old

 My baby girl is 6 weeks old today!  She has changed so much in the last 6 weeks, especially her weight.  She now weighs over 9 pounds.  She started smiling when she was about 2 weeks old and her smiles get bigger and sweeter every day.  So far she is a great sleeper and only wakes up once or twice during the night. 

 She has been a little stubborn with the bottles, but dad is working on it.

 She is just so sweet and such a joy to snuggle with!

 I can't believe how big she has gotten in such a short amount of time.  Every day she looks a little different.  Her dark hair has lightened and her eyes are still a light gray.  She is absolutely beautiful and I am so lucky to have her!

My husband

 My amazing husband was nominated for a very cool award recently.  He was chosen as a nominee for Officer of the Year for the entire San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.  Of the entire department, only 3 deputies were nominated for this award.  We attended a recognition dinner where each nominee was recognized for all that they have done.  They honored each nominee by talking about their achievements and playing a picture slide show that included work and family photos.  All the nominees were photographed and had their picture in the newspaper.

I didn't get to take as many pictures as I wanted because I was holding little Ella who was only 3 weeks old!  My mom, dad, and Carolyn also attended the ceremony with us and helped me take care of the baby and took these pictures for me.  My dad was also nominated for this same award years ago.  I know that Jeremy is so honored just to have been nominated for this award.  This truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity.  I am so proud of all his accomplishments and so glad to see him recognized for all his hard work.

Pre-school graduation

 My biggest boy graduated from pre-school last week!  He has been going to Water of Life pre-school for the last 2 years and will be starting transitional kindergarten in August.  He has loved pre-school and I know he will miss it.  This is Mrs. Anna and Mrs. Gloria.  They have been his teachers for the last year.

 This is one of his best buddies Gavin.  He was so lucky to be in the same class with Gavin for almost the whole school year.

 And this sweet little girl is Gracie.  Everett and Gracie have been in the same class for 2 years!  She is so sweet and Everett adores her.  I know he will be very sad not to have Gracie in his class next year.  We will still see them though because lucky little Hudson will have Gracie's younger sister Kinsley in his pre-school class next year!

 Everett was given an award for "All American Boy" this year by his teachers.  Mrs. Anna said this was because he is "all boy."  I think this means he is a little wild, but this is a cute award!

Pre-school has been great for Everett and I can't believe it is over! 

Ella

 My sweet baby girl was born on May 8th at 1:01pm.  She was induced 4 days after her due date and entered the world weighing 6 pounds 2 ounces and was 18 inches long.

 These boys are head over heels in love with her!  They always want to know where she is at and what she is doing.  They love to hold her and kiss her.  They think the noises she makes are so cute.  And they ask the cutest questions about her!

 She is so sweet and so tiny.  She has been such a joy and I really can't believe that I am a mother to three!  It is so awesome.

 She has been a really good baby.  She is nursing great and passed her birth weight at 1 week old!  She is also sleeping really well and usually goes right back to sleep after nursing at night.  She likes to sleep on her side and seems to really like her crib.

 I am so happy to have three healthy, beautiful babies.  Ella is the perfect addition to our family.  Welcome home baby girl!

The Boy's Room

Their room is so functional for the two of them.  It is a pretty large room and their closet is amazing!  All their toys and clothes fit so well and I just love all the little changes that we have made.  They both really love sharing a room and I love it too!

Easter

This was the first year the boys really enjoyed coloring Easter eggs.  They finally seemed to understand the process and really liked putting stickers on the eggs.

 

 On Easter morning my little boys woke up to find legos in their Easter basket and they were very excited about this!  Then we headed off to my Aunt Sharon's house for our first egg hunt and some time with my family.

 Then it was off to Jeremy's cousin Mandy's house for our second egg hunt and dinner.

 The boys had a really great time playing here.  They have lots of rabbits that run free through the houses.  The boys thought this was really cool and loved chasing them.  They also thought that they were Easter bunnies which was really cute.

 They were very spoiled by all their wonderful family and had a great time playing with all their new toys.  They especially loved this toy where you pump up a balloon and let it go and it makes silly noises as it flies through the air.

36 weeks

 We got a sneak peek at our baby girl this week, who now weighs over 5 pounds!  It is so reassuring to see that she is growing perfectly.  I am hoping things continue this way until she arrives.

And I think this is only the second picture I have taken this pregnancy showing my growing belly.  With Everett we took a picture every week....funny how things change with your third!  I am now 36 weeks and getting SO excited to meet this little girl.
