Happy Father's Day!!

Happy father's day to the 2 most important dads in my life.  Jeremy is the most amazing father to my boys and they just adore him!  I am so lucky to have him as my husband.

And my dad is the most understanding, giving, and most patient guy in the world!  I am so lucky to be his daughter.  I love you guys!!

Fun, fun, fun

We have been having so much fun lately.....

My boys LOVE playing in the water, and this beautiful weather has been allowing for plenty of water time...

Everett's first soccer season just ended...

This little guy was so good watching his brother play soccer.  He even started yelling, "Get the ball!"

Jeremy recently ran in a mud run with his good friend Matt...

It is always fun to push a car...
 ...especially with your brother!

We had a blast swimming on Memorial day weekend...

Hudson has amazing aim with a squirt gun!
We are having so much fun playing that there is little time left for blogging!

Easter

We had a wonderful Easter weekend filled with lots of friends and family!
The Easter bunny was very generous to the boys and they have really enjoyed their new jeep.

Both boys had a blast hunting for eggs this year. Hudson loved to put them in his basket and Everett just wanted to "crack" them.

And the best part of Easter was riding in the tractor at Grandpa's house!

Personality

Both of my little boys have developed so much personality lately! At 15 months Hudson says an unbelievable amount of words! He is such a communicator. He answers almost all questions by nodding yes or shaking his head no. If he can't say what he wants he will point and say PLEEEEASE! He sure knows how to get his point across.

Here are a few of the things he says: apple, banana, more, all done, drink, eat, mama, dada, everett, brother, doggie, shovel, ball, uh-oh, up, down, paci, blankie, bubble, cheese, oh tootles, clean up, balloon. He can make animal noises for elephants, dolphins, dogs, lions. His favorite things these days are digging in the dirt (and eating the dirt), being chased, and looking at books. His favorite cartoon is mickey mouse. He sings and dances to the hot dog song. He also tries to sing ABCs and old McDonald. He is still little and weighs only 20 pounds. He loves bathtime and never wants to get out. He also loves bedtime because he loves to suck on his paci and snuggle with his blankie. He LOVES to be held by his mama.... and his mama loves it too!

And just recently my smart little boy has gone pee in the potty! I am so amazed that we have been able to get him to do this! He amazes me everyday!

This silly boy has also developed quite the vocabulary these days. He has such an imagination lately! He wants every toy(and spoon, fork, book, and shoe) to talk. He usually has them say things like, how are you? what are you doing? do you want to play with me? He has become quite opinionated lately and frequently says, "I don't like it" or "I don't want to." He loves his new bedroom and has done great staying in his bed. He has SO much energy and would be so happy to play outside all day long. He is such a joy to be around!

Big Boy Bed

This is the way Everett's room has looked for the last 3 and a half years. Yes, my 3 and a half year old was still sleeping in a crib! He has always done so well at bedtime and I have been really hesitant to change anything in his routine. But I know that he can't be in a crib forever.

So today we took apart his crib and put away all of his surfer pictures....

...and put together his big boy bed! We spent most of the day today rearranging furniture and putting together Everett's new room. He has been so excited about his new "tractor bed."

His room turned out really cute and I am loving the bright colors!

I just hope that his room isn't too fun, and he decides to play instead of sleep! This is the only decoration left over from his nursery and we decided not to take it down. What a lucky little boy!
